So sorry - glad he is no longer suffering but sad that his health has meant he has gone too soon. I first met Ewart recovering from surgery many years ago now, but his focus was always on others not himself. I don’t think I ever heard him complaining. I remember with great affection - his wonderful food; twinkly eyes; his giggle; great chats about all sorts; stories; his enthusiasm for sharing ideas with others; Ewart always made a great welcome for visitors; music..... lots of things - he was an all round good egg. He taught me a lot without ever teaching, just living his values. So sorry for the pain you must all be feeling and love to you all xxx ps Lovely photo 😊
