Over the time I knew Ewart I found him to be a kind, considered and wise man. Ewart always took such care in everything he did. Ewart was such a generous person you would always come home with an array of vegetables from the allotment whenever you visited. He had a great character and presence with a patient and gentle disposition. I can honestly say Ewart was one of the kindest people I have known. This is how I will remember Ewart.
